ELi Robertson, founder of ESR DEVELOPMENT philosophy was developed early in life upon building a pump house complete with a loft on his grandmother's farm in Minnesota.
Having additionally worked on construction sites as a teenager, Eli would use these experiences to carve a unique path accorded to his own interests and talents. These talents would spark in him a passion for bringing distinctive designs to life through exceptional craftsmanship and structural attention to detail.
Eli’s practical experience continued developing under a prominent custom home and commercial builder in the dry heat of Palm Desert, CA., while his education was nurtured by the cool breeze of California beaches at UC San Diego. A 30,000 square foot house – eventually purchased by a renowned billionaire – as well as a major renovation of the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA., would kick-start his lifelong career in managing high-end custom building projects.
Having had enough of the desert heat, Eli left for coastal Orange County and began experimenting with the corporate world while working as a construction manager for Lennar Corporation. During this time he also became a licensed General Contractor. Subsequent to quickly realizing the corporate culture left little room for his own personal creativity, Eli began building and directing construction projects on his own, taking a creative, hands-on approach to renovating fine homes and and commercial projects.
